The Upper Yarra Museum is the only surviving railway station on the Lilydale to Warburton line. The Museum is an invaluable repository of the Upper Yarra and Yarra Valley history, heritage and stories.Rail, timber, tramways, machinery, agriculture are among the strong collection themes.
Heritage restoration, infrastructure improvements, the installation of Mosaic (a collection management program) the increasing success of the annual two-day Crank-up and Wood chop event and the equally successful History Week program for local schools are key features of the Museum's profile in 2012.
